Shulamit Tibor Presents her Backgammon Box

Dialogue

In an area of ongoing conflict a dialogue is the most important component of reconciliation. I presented the figures faceless to emphasize that the protagonists are replaced during the prolonged time of negotiations; the dialogue however must go on. The Anemones symbolizes the blood shed and they are also a symbol of peace. The Backgammon Board marks the region of conflicts. The child with the balloon shows the yearning for a better future.
